22 year old Elizabeth Bingham of Taylorville was arrested on Monday for driving while license suspended.

A male juvenile was arrested on Monday on a Christian County Warrant.

27 year old Kimberley A. Carrell of Pana was arrested on Friday on a FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance. 

48 year old James M. Assad of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for armed robbery and aggravated battery.

22 year old Jessie R. Austin of Herrick was arrested on Saturday on a FTA warrant for theft.

44 year old Damon Trumpy of Chatham was arrested on Sunday for driving suspended/revoked and possession of methamphetamine.

26 year old Quinten W. Christopher of Edinburg was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

41 year old Steven D. Leonard of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for driving while license revoked and leaving the scene of an accident.

21 year old Brandy S. Kay of Tower Hill was arrested on Friday on a Christian County and Shelby County warrant. 

57 year old Randall R. Mundell of Decatur was arrested on Friday on a warrant.

35 year old Rebecca R. Roberts of Sigel was arrested on October 13th, for driving with a suspended registration, no registration light, posession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a revoked license. 

42 year old Mark E. Langston of Cowden was issued a citation on October 17th for driving without a license, and notice to appear for possession of a controlled substance.

44 year old Bryan D. Askins of Cowden was issued a notice to appear on October 18th for battery.

27 year old Dakota R. Osborn of Decatur was issued a notice to appear for unlawful use of a weapon and citations for speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle.

49 year old Gerald A. Brown of Kincaid was arrested on Wednesday on an FTA warrant for violating an order of protection.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident at 1900 N 2525 East Road on Wednesday. 24 year old Zachariah A. Bond of Moweaqua and 27 year old Dalton J. Younker of Moweaqua were involved in a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. 

Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident at 32 E 1100 North Road on Wednesday. 58 year old Leonard W. Rovey of Farmersville was involved in a single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Thursday at 1000 N 1250 East Road. 33 year old Tyler D. Miles of Nokomis and 39 year old Lacy D. Glenn of Nokomis were involved in a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

44 year old Sarena Ellinger of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on a warrant for driving revoked/reckless homicide.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday. 56 year old Angela K. Vaughn Clark of Durango, Colorado and 36 year old TPD Officer Gregory Just were in a collision. No injuries were reported. 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday at 580 E 2100 North Road. Craig A Backs of Springfield struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on October 9th at 490 US Highway 51. 27 year old Traci E. Burchell of Centralia was involved in a single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on October 17th at 565 E 2100 North Road. 25 year old Allen K. Kuhnert of Taylorville was involved in a single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Sunday at 2975 N 2050 East Road. No injuries were reported.

56 year old Angela K. Vaughn-Clark of Durango, Colorado, was arrested on Tuesday for DUI

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on E Park Street Monday evening. 20 year old Trevor A. Durbin of Taylorville was traveling westbound on Park Street and struck 39 year old Scott W. Savage of Taylorville. When Savage’s vehicle was hit, it also struck a vehicle driven by 25 year old Cody W. Smegal of Decatur. No injuries were reported. All vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on October 10th at South Cherokee Street and Jaycee Drive. 32 year old Brittany D. Melton of Taylorville was traveling south on Cherokee and struck an Ameren Utility pole on the west side of the road, then hitting a stop sign warning ahead sign. The vehicle came to a stop 75 feet from the “T” intersection for Jaycee Drive. Melton left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival, leaving the vehicle running with open alcohol present within arms reach of the driver. The vehicle was towed. It is unknown whether the driver was intoxicated. She was located the next day after turning herself into TPD.

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on October 12th at Webster and Spresser in Taylorville.  A vehicle driven by 28 year old Meagan E. Knepler of Taylorville was headed south on Webster Street. 18 year old Emily H. Gaynor of Taylorville was traveling north on Webster Street. Both approached the intersection and Gaynor turned west onto Spresser in front of Knepler. Knepler had right of way and could not stop in time to avoid the collision. No injuries were reported. Gaynor was given a citation. 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on October 14th. 26 year old Constance K. Wood of Taylorville was stopped at Cherokee and Market heading westbound. 19 year old Kristina L. Westcott of Morrisonville was traveling southbound on Cherokee Street. Wood thought here was a four way stop and proceeded to cross Cherokee Street colliding with Westcott. Westcott was pushed west off the roadway. Wood’s vehicle No injuries were reported. 

Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

30 year old Charles L. Cummings Jr. of Springfield was arrested on Tuesday for no valid driver’s license. 

25 year old Daniel S. Dailey of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for aggravated battery to a child.

24 year old James C. Luetzow of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for domestic battery.

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the afternoon of September 30th on Route 48 and McAdam Drive. A minor from Moweaqua was traveling north on Route 48 and was turning left onto McAdam Drive. 30 year old Sally M. Betscher of Decatur was traveling southbound on Route 48. The minor believed that Betscher was turning and turned in front of her, causing a collision. Both vehicles were towed and Betscher was taken to a local hospital. 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle that went through the front window of Aaron’s in Taylorville on October 6th. 27 year old Briann L. Kreiss said there was a vehicle parked in the area and she was going around that vehicle and went to hit the brake, but hit the gas pedal instead. The glass from the damaged window went all over inside the building and contents.

The Taylorville Police Department also responded to a vehicle that struck the Countryside building at 201 Water Street on October 10th. 68 year old Deborah S. Schmitt of Taylorville was pulling into the parking lot and did not stop, striking the building. No injuries were reported.

Taylorville PD was dispatched to a vehicle accident on the evening of October 11th at Lincoln Trail and North Leland Lane for a vehicle versus animal. Upon arrival, EMS was called due to injury from the impact and the driver, 57 year old Mary L. Bourne-Oconner of St. Charles Missouri who was feeling chest pains. TPD Dunn’s Ambulance, and Taylorville Fire and Rescue responded to the scene. Bourne-Oconner would transport herself to a local hospital.

38 year old Joshua M. Declerck of Carlinville was arrested on Thursday on an FTA warrant for violating an order of protection.

30 year old Cody E. Hines of Decatur was arrested on Thursday on a warrant for theft.

25 year old Justin L. Hammack of Lewistown was arrested on Saturday on a FTA warrant for aggravated battery to an officer and disorderly conduct. 

29 year old Dylan W. Prather of Bardolph, was arrested on Sunday for armed robbery and attempted murder. 

46 year old Randy P. Aymer of Kincaid was arrested on Sunday for possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance and manufacture, and delivery of a controlled substance. 

18 year old Trinity Perry of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant for battery.

26 year old Donald E. Denning of Bulpitt was involved in a single-vehicle accident at 1907 N 800 East Road on Tuesday. Denning was transported to a local area hospital.
