30 year old Rusty A. Rose of Pana was arrested on Tuesday for domestic battery.

51 year old Ann L. Stafford of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for retail theft, Criminal trespass to property, and public intoxication.

32 year old Randy E. Sherman of Edinburg was arrested on Wednesday for obstructing ID, driving while license suspended, and aggravated fleeing/eluding stemming from a February 4th traffic stop.

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on February 19th at the 400 Block of West Main Cross. James F. McCarty of Taylorville was backing from the Taylorville Community Credit Union parking lot into the 400 Block of West Main Cross. John M. Turvey parked along curb of raodway driving a US Postal vehicle. McCarty stated he did not see Turvey and backed into the vehicle causing minor damage. No injuries were reported.

The Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on February 19th at the 700 block of East Ash. 17 year old Colton A. Ehrhardt of Taylorville was headed westbound and lost control of his vehicle striking three vehicles. No injuries were reported and the car was towed from the scene.

19 year old Timothy J. Everlen of Stonington was arrested on Monday for a warrant.

24 year old Kyle D. Brown of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for solicitation of a minor and possession of methamphetamine of less than 5 grams.

24 year old Kyle D. Brown of Taylorville was arrested on Monday for indecent solicitation of a child and possession of methamphetamine.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on February 11th at Catherine Street.  A minor from Taylorville was involved in a minor accident striking an unoccupied parked vehicle.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on February 15th at 625 Illinois Route 48. 53 year old Timothy A. Burch of Taylorville and 65 year old Phil R. Bethard of Morrisonville were involved in a vehicle accident. Burch was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on February 17th at 2500 E 1600 North Road. 47 year old Paul R. Davis of Decatur was involved in a single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on February 19th at 2095 E 1200 North Road. 54 year old Daniel P. Fixsal struck a Consolidated Communications truck that was unoccupied. No injuries were reported.

38 year old Robert M. Durbin of Decatur was arrested on Wednesday for domestic battery.

35 year old Benjamin N. Vargas of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a Sangamon County warrant, driving while license suspended, reckless driving, possession of cannabis, and driving under the influence.

62 year old Dee A. Stockton of Palmer was arrested on Sunday for driving under the influence.

23 year old Blake A. Knight of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on a warrant.

A vehicle was parked in front of 304 N. Shumway Street on February 11th.  Jordan M. Siempelkamp of Taylorville was driving north on Shumway Street. She stated that she looked down at her cell phone and when she looked up she hit the back of the parked car. The parked car was pushed into the utility pole. No injuries were reported. 
 

Vehicles driven by Cristian J. Scott of Blue Mound and John M. Scott of Pana were traveling northbound in the 600 block of North Webster on February 10th. John Scott slowed to make a right hand turn and was struck in the rear end by Christian Scott. Christian Scott stated he slid on the pavement due to the weather and struck the back of John Scott. No injuries were reported by either party.
