The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
29 year old Mariccia C. Johnson of Decatur was arrested on Monday on a FTA warrant for violating an order of protection
25 year old Austin R. Webb of Westervelt was arrested on Monday on a FTA warrant for resisting an officer.
27 year old Gale A. Mulvaney of Harvel was arrested on Monday on a petition to revoke DUI
44 year old Sarena Ellinger of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on a warrant for driving revoked/reckless homicide.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday. 56 year old Angela K. Vaughn Clark of Durango, Colorado and 36 year old TPD Officer Gregory Just were in a collision. No injuries were reported.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday at 580 E 2100 North Road. Craig A Backs of Springfield struck a deer. No injuries were reported.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on October 9th at 490 US Highway 51. 27 year old Traci E. Burchell of Centralia was involved in a single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on October 17th at 565 E 2100 North Road. 25 year old Allen K. Kuhnert of Taylorville was involved in a single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Sunday at 2975 N 2050 East Road. No injuries were reported.
The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;
44 year old Sarena L. Ellinger was arrested on Tuesday on a warrant.
56 year old Angela K. Vaughn-Clark of Durango, Colorado, was arrested on Tuesday for DUI
Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on E Park Street Monday evening. 20 year old Trevor A. Durbin of Taylorville was traveling westbound on Park Street and struck 39 year old Scott W. Savage of Taylorville. When Savage’s vehicle was hit, it also struck a vehicle driven by 25 year old Cody W. Smegal of Decatur. No injuries were reported. All vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.
Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on October 10th at South Cherokee Street and Jaycee Drive. 32 year old Brittany D. Melton of Taylorville was traveling south on Cherokee and struck an Ameren Utility pole on the west side of the road, then hitting a stop sign warning ahead sign. The vehicle came to a stop 75 feet from the “T” intersection for Jaycee Drive. Melton left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival, leaving the vehicle running with open alcohol present within arms reach of the driver. The vehicle was towed. It is unknown whether the driver was intoxicated. She was located the next day after turning herself into TPD.
The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on October 12th at Webster and Spresser in Taylorville. A vehicle driven by 28 year old Meagan E. Knepler of Taylorville was headed south on Webster Street. 18 year old Emily H. Gaynor of Taylorville was traveling north on Webster Street. Both approached the intersection and Gaynor turned west onto Spresser in front of Knepler. Knepler had right of way and could not stop in time to avoid the collision. No injuries were reported. Gaynor was given a citation.
The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on October 14th. 26 year old Constance K. Wood of Taylorville was stopped at Cherokee and Market heading westbound. 19 year old Kristina L. Westcott of Morrisonville was traveling southbound on Cherokee Street. Wood thought here was a four way stop and proceeded to cross Cherokee Street colliding with Westcott. Westcott was pushed west off the roadway. Wood’s vehicle No injuries were reported.
