25 year old Briar D. Samson of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for fighting in public.

24 year old Brett A. Young of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for fighting in public.

31 year old Kaylene S. Reber of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on a Christian County Warrant.

27 year old Zachary Clutter of Pana was arrested on Tuesday on a FTA warrant for domestic battery.

31 year old Kaylene S. Reber of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on a FTA warrant for cannabis trafficking.

43 year old Jeffrey R. Moreland of Pana was arrested on Tuesday for domestic battery.

28 year old Kevin M. Rensman of Rochester was arrested on Monday for domestic battery.

37 year old Justin O Mahanke of Pana was arrested on Monday for aggravated battery.

48 year old Shad J. Richards of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on a FTA warrant for domestic battery.

21 year old Cole A. Montgomery of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant for DUI.

19 year old Michael L. Durbin of Stonington was arrested on Sunday for unlawful use of a weapon and obstructing an officer.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle crash on Saturday at 1900 E 2300 North Road. 80 year old Larry D. Yochum and 57 year old Anne E. Horne of Blue Mound were involved in a vehicle accident. Yochum suffered fatal injuries and Horne reported minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

41 year old Robert E. Fuller of Taylorville was arrested on Friday was arrested on a warrant.

50 year old Ann L. Stafford of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for burglary and public intoxication.

48 year old James Crepin of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday on a Christian County Warrant.

28 year old Justin Price of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday on a Christian County Warrant.

38 year old Justin R. Sherman of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for disorderly conduct.

25 year old Colin D. Jameson of Decatur was arrested on Friday for driving while license suspended, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and operation of a motor vehicle with registration suspended for insurance.

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the afternoon of August 12th. A vehicle was headed west on Spresser Street near Cheney and failed to yield to slowing traffic striking the back of a vehicle driven by Caitlin M. Donovan.  Donovan pulled into the Casey’s parking lot after getting hit. The other vehicle kept going. No injuries were reported.

The Taylorville Police also responded to a vehicle accident from a hit and run incident that occurred to a vehicle on August 3rd. No one was in the vehicle but it was hit at 1530 West Springfield Road between the hours of 7-10 PM on August 2nd.

40 year old David E. Harris of Shelbyville was issued a NTA on August 1st for criminal trespass.

29 year old Nikolas J. Allen of Shelbyville was issued a citation on August 6th for driving while license revoked.

28 year old Tyler J. Hardesty of Shelbyville was arrested on August 8th for burglary and possession of stolen property.

52 year old Robin M. Elder of Shelbyville was arrested on August 9th for an active Shelby County Warrant, possession of methamphetamine and bringing or possessing contraband into a penal institute.

39 year old Tameka Davis of Peoria was arrested on Saturday for aggravated domestic battery.

35 year old Joseph W. Weitekamp of Morrisonville was arrested for DUI.

22 year old Jessie R. Austin was arrested on Saturday on a FTA Warrant for resisting a peace officer and theft. 

28 year old Douglas H. Manuel of Pana was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant for retail theft. 

43 year old Eric J. Cunitz of Kincaid was involved in a vehicle accident on Friday at 900 E 1250 North Road after his vehicle caught fire. No injuries were reported.

42 year old Melinda A. Morgan of Taylorville hit a deer at 810 N 1250 East. No injuries were reported.

A 16 year old male juvenile was arrested on Monday for minor involved in electronic dissemination of indecent images.

39 year old Alicia L. Smith of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on a Christian County Warrant for failure to appear during the course of a traffic stop.
