33 year old Brittany J. Wright of Pana was arrested on Friday on a FTA warrant for armed robbery.

58 year old Brian L. Moses of Palmer was arrested on Friday on a FTA warrant for driving on a suspended/revoked drivers license.

55 year old Scarlet D. Farlow of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday on a FTA warrant for possession of meth and new charges of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

40 year old Chay J. Anthony of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for driving on a suspended license.

43 year old Dax A. Baldrige of St. Elmo was arrested on Sunday for fleeing/eluding, driving on a suspended/revoked license, resisting a peace officer, and child endangerment.

35 year old Dennis J. Womack of Mechanicsburg was arrested on Sunday for domestic battery.

35 year old Allison M. Grothaus of Springfield was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant for theft.

34 year old Dotty M. Eppenger of Peoria was arrested on Monday for aggravated battery.

43 year old Dennis E. Langley of Springfield was arrested on Monday on a FTA warrant for retail theft.

28 year old Brooke D. King of Pana was arrested on Monday for violation of an order of protection.

61 year old Roger S. Hampton was arrested on Monday on a FTA warrant for criminal trespass.

37 year old Mark A. Leach of Stonington was arrested on Wednesday on a FTA warrant for driving on a suspended revoked driver’s license. 

43 year old Jeffery R. Moreland of Pana was arrested on Wednesday on a FTA warrant for aggravated domestic battery.

29 year old Merissa E. Richards of Decatur was arrested on Wednesday on a FTA warrant for obstructing identification.

47 year old Darren J. Debrun of Taylorville was arrested last Friday for driving under the influence.

34 year old Dotty M. Eppenger of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for aggravated assault.

42 year old Susan R. Fisher of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on a FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

34 year old Kylee E. Mathes of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on two FTA warrants for possession of a controlled substance.

Linda Shrake of Pana was traveling southbound on Route 29 just south of Owaneco on Wednesday when she struck a deer. No injuries were reported. 
 

Jacob Weaver of Decatur was southbound on IL Route 48 on Sunday. Just north of 1550 North Road in Taylorville Township, Weaver lost control going off the roadway and crashing into the ditch.  No injuries were reported and Weaver was issued a citation.

Rusty Rose of Pana was involved in a vehicle accident on May 9th. Rose turned off of IL Route 48 onto McAdam Drive with his motorcycle. Rose failed to negotiate the curve and laid the motorcycle down. Rose was transported to Taylorville Memorial HOspital for injuries. He was issued citations for failure to reduce speed, driving while license suspended, and operation of an uninsured vehicle.

34 year old Adam G. Brachear was arrested on Wednesday for driving while license suspended and fleeing and eluding a police officer.

34 year old Drew M. Collins of Kincaid was arrested on Tuesday for criminal trespass to property. 

34 year old Zachary R. Newberry of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for a violation of a bail bond.

Sandra Freeman of Nokomis was southbound on Illinois Route 29 when Freeman’s vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. 

Katelyn Swisher of Taylorville was northbound on IL Route 29 just south of Owaneco in Locust Township when Swisher’s vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

Kurt Gilsinger of Chesterfield, Missouri and David Jack of Palmer were both southbound on Monday on IL Route 48 in Palmer. Jack slowed to make a lefthand turn and Gilsinger failed to stop in time, striking the rear of Jack. No injuries were reported. Gilsinger was issued a citation. 

Marjorie Muehlebach of Decatur was involved in a vehicle accident on Monday, heading southbound on US Route 51, north of Pana. Muehlebach was negotiating the curves from four lanes to two when she lost control and struck two IDOT Road Signs causing damage.  No injuries were reported.

47 year old Richard Shivers was arrested on a Christian County warrant.

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon. Charles A. Berger of Centralia was exiting Amity Food Parking Lot onto West Spresser Street. Johnny L. Kalb of Peoria was eastbound on West Spresser Street when Berger failed to yield to Kalb. No injuries were reported and Berger was issued a citation.

40 year old David L. Kerr of Tower Hill was arrested on Friday on a FTA warrant for driving while license suspended/revoked.

30 year old Heather D. Thomas of Decatur was arrested on Saturday on a Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of meth.

29 year old Dalton W. Jeppson of Decatur was arrested on Saturday for driving on a suspended/revoked drivers license. 

24 year old Todd J. Stivers of Pana was arrested on Sunday on a Christian County FTA warrant for retail theft and a Shelby County FTA warrant for burglary. 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle accident that took place on Friday. Rudy Zahradka of Pana was traveling westbound on Second Street in Pana, driving a motorcycle. Just East of John Street, Zahradka lost control of the motorcycle and crashed. Zahradka was transported to Pana Community Hospital with injuries.

David Maag of Kane was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 48. Just south of 1000 North Road in Johnson Township, maag says that he fell asleep and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a small sign and overturning into a ditch. No injuries were reported.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

A 14 year old male juvenile was arrested on Friday for battery.

22 year old Noah A. Womack of Edinburg was arrested on Saturday for DUI.

Taylorville Police are investigating a vehicle accident that took place on May 10th at 4PM. Diane Oates of Pana and Kylie M. Grubaugh of Edinburg were headed northbound on Cheney in Taylorville at the intersection with Springfield Road. Grubaugh stated she was stopped at the red light and was rear ended by Oates. Oates bumped Grubaugh in front of her while they were sitting at the spotlight. Both vehicles moved to the Arby’s parking lot prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported.

18-year-old Devin Skinner of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

The Christian County Sheriff's Office is investigating a vehicle crash between Robert Burgener of Taylorville and Kimberly Richardson of Moweaqua. Both were northbound on County Highway 22 in Buckhart Township following a slower vehicle. Richardson tried to overtake the slower vehicle at the same time Burgener did and both vehicles collided. No injuries were reported and Burgener was issued a citation for improper lane usage.

21-year-old Rusty L. Tolly of Mount Auburn was arrested on Monday for domestic battery, aggravated assault, unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated battery to the elderly, and possession of a firearm without a FOID card.

33 year old Stephanie Reber of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for an FTA warrant for possession of meth, and new charges of burglary and theft. 

38 year old Cale Sexson of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant from Douglas County for driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license.

32 year old Ashley Ronda of Bethany was arrested on Sunday on a FTA Macoupin County warrant for DUI.

23 year old Aaron WP Mosley of Pana was arrested on Saturday on a FTA warrant for possession of meth.

30 year old Aimee N. Miller of Pana was arrested on Saturday on a FTA warrant for driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license.

32 year old Carl Carr of Niantic was arrested on Sunday for domestic battery.

A vehicle accident took place on April 30th at the stop sign of Central Street and IL Route 104 in Kincaid. Kenneth Noblet of Kincaid stopped his vehicle at the stop sign and proceeded south through the intersection. He struck a vehicle being driven by a 16 year old Juvenile. No injuries were reported. Noblet was issued a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.

On Sunday, Jason Smith of Taylorville was traveling southbound on County Highway #7 in May Township. The vehicle went off the west side of the road into the ditch. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
