12-22-21 Kody Campbell 30 was arrested on Macon County Warrant.

12-23-21 Christopher Ager 37 was arrested for speeding 35 over the limit.

12-23-21 David Kerr 40 was arrested for driving revoked/suspended.

12-23-21 Bryan Bertolino 58 was arrested for theft.

12-24-21 James Gollden 40 was arrested for retail theft, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

12-24-21 Chad Tungate 39 was arrested for retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth.

12-24-21 Erin Robbins 36 was arrested for retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth.

12-24-21 Hailey Pritchett 21  was arrested for driving suspended.

12-25-21 Adam Brachear 35 was arrested on a Sangamon County warrant.

12-25-21 Laura Harter 33 was arrested for domestic battery.

12-25-21 Donald Minard 40 was arrested for sexual exploitation of a child.

12-26-21 Ashley Gaines 30 was arrested for domestic battery.

12-26-21 Joseph Stubbs 32 was arrested for domestic battery.

Crashes

12-19-21 Mason Shoraga was traveling eastbound on the east curve in Rosamond Grove Cemetery when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a headstone. Driver had minor injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

12-25-21 Brehia Alaria pulled into the parking lot at the Casey’s in Kincaid. Alaria was wearing a medical boot at the time. Her foot slipped and pushed the accelerator and hit the front wall of the business. No injuries. No tow.

12-26-21 Adam Cloe was driving north on 1800 East Road at about 1040 North. Cloe drove off the roadway and on the shoulder. Cloe then reentered the roadway and overcorrected. He lost control and went down into the east ditch and turned on the driver’s side. The driver was not injured and called for a tow.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Kailey Daugherty was traveling northbound on County Highway #1 approaching Township Road 700. She looked down to pick up her phone and lost control of the vehicle. She proceeded through the ditch, struck a fiber optic pole before striking a tree. Daugherty was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The Taylorville Police Reported the following to Regional Radio News;

On December 20th, 41 year old Omar S. Mustafa of Burnsville, MN was arrested for DUI.

On December 21st, 47 year old Kerri L. Skinner of Taylorville was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.

12-15-21 Shalee Bayne 30 was arrested by TPD for possession of meth and meth related child endangerment.

12-15-21 Ronald Fisher 27 was arrested by TPD for possession of meth and meth delivery.

12-15-21 Ryan Tarrant 30 was arrested by Pana PD for burglary, residential burglary and resisting a police officer.

12-15-21 Joshua Bain 37 was arrested by TPD for possession of meth, meth delivery and possession of a controlled substance.

12-15-21 Gary Foreman 38 was arrested by TPD for aggravated battery.

12-16-21 Wesley Scott Kibodeaux 40 was arrested by CCSO for meth delivery.

12-6-21 Randy Dulceak and Blake Peters were traveling northbound on 1250 East Road in Greenwood Township. Peters was stopped waiting to turn west on 500 North Road when Dulceak hit Peters vehicle on the back driver side. Both units were towed from the scene.

12-11-21  Dee Stockon and Tucker Hamm were involved in a traffic crash in Taylorville. Stockon was stopped at the stop sign on the south side of Rt 48 and Shumway. Hamm was traveling south west on Rt. 48 approaching the intersection of Rt 48 and Shumway. Stockon failed to yield the right of way to Hamm, and Hamm struck Stockon. Both vehicles were able to drive away from scene.

12-15-21 Rachel Hill was traveling northbound on 1250 East Road  in Johnson township when she struck a deer. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

On 12/15/21 Shalee M. Bayne age 30 of Taylorville was arrested for Possession of methamphetamine, Child Endangerment and an active warrant

On 12/16/21 Stephanie L. Weaver age 48 of Taylorville was arrested for Disorderly Conduct

On 12/14/21 Gary J. Foreman age 38 of Taylorville was arrested for a warrant

On 12/15/21 Shane D. Farris age 36 of Taylorville was arrested for theft

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

35 year old Matthew Morrissey was arrested on Friday for violating a bail bond. 

39 year old Justin Sherman was arrested on Friday for aggravated battery and criminal trespassing.

33 year old Brittany Wright was arrested on Saturday for domestic battery.

46 year old Lester Ward was arrested on Monday for possession of meth.

On December 8th Charles Cummings and Andrew Dunn were traveling in Johnson township at 1250 E. and 900 N. when Cummings crossed the center line and struck Dunn head on.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

On December 10th Albert Peek was traveling southbound on 1400 East Road in Mount Auburn township when he struck a deer.  The vehicle was towed and no injuries were reported.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

The Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on December 7th at 3:32 AM.  Elizabeth Wagner of Taylorville was traveling northbound on N. Madison. Russell I Wells Jr. of Taylorville was travelin westbound on West Main Cross.  Wagner failed to yield at the yield sign and entered the intersection striking Wells’ vehicle. Wells had the right of way.  Wagner is alleged to have left the scene. Wells stopped near the intersection and notified police. While police were interviewing Wells, Wagner’s boyfriend returned to the scene driving the vehicle. Police informed him, that Wagner needed to return and she did. She told police that she didn’t see Wells in the intersection and struck his vehicle as she was passing through.  She stated she was upset and didn’t know what to do following the accident and went home. No injuries were reported. Wagner received two citations. 

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on December 4th at 11:31 AM. Dante C. Daniels struck the rear of Richard Marten who was stopped in traffic on Route 29 near Route 104. No injuries were reported. 

Taylorville Police also responded to a vehicle accident on December 1st at 7:57 AM. Irvan C. Yonk of Palmer was traveling east on West Park Street approaching the intersection of West Park Street and North Washington Street.  Motorist in the west bound lane was waiving Yonk to make his turn onto N. Washington Street. As Hardiman was entering the right turn lane of the intersection to turn north onto N. Webster Street and Yonk couldn’t stop in time to avoid the crash. Hardiman was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

12-04-21 Shane Horve 27 was arrested by Nokomis PD for driving suspended.

12-04-21 Bradley Rheude 40 was arrested by Sangamon County for retail theft.

12-04-21 Melinda Kraut 54 was arrested by TPD for possession of meth.

12-05-21 Justin Sexton 25 was arrested by TPD for violating a bail bond.

12-06-21 Corey Todd 28 was arrested by TPD for possession of meth.

12-03-21 Ethan Lee and Amahri Turner were traveling north on Route 29 in Pana Township when they hit causing Turner to spin off the roadway and hit a post. No injuries. Turner was towed from the scene.

12-05-21 Charles Babb and Nathaniel Ridgway were traveling westbound on IL Route 16 in Pana when Ridgway went to turn around and Babb struck Ridgway’s vehicle. There was minor damage and no injuries reported.
