The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
Kailey Daugherty was traveling northbound on County Highway #1 approaching Township Road 700. She looked down to pick up her phone and lost control of the vehicle. She proceeded through the ditch, struck a fiber optic pole before striking a tree. Daugherty was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
The Taylorville Police Reported the following to Regional Radio News;
On December 20th, 41 year old Omar S. Mustafa of Burnsville, MN was arrested for DUI.
On December 21st, 47 year old Kerri L. Skinner of Taylorville was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.
