The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

35 year old Benjamin N. Vargas of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a Sangamon County warrant, driving while license suspended, reckless driving, possession of cannabis, and driving under the influence.

62 year old Dee A. Stockton of Palmer was arrested on Sunday for driving under the influence.

23 year old Blake A. Knight of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on a warrant.

A vehicle was parked in front of 304 N. Shumway Street on February 11th.  Jordan M. Siempelkamp of Taylorville was driving north on Shumway Street. She stated that she looked down at her cell phone and when she looked up she hit the back of the parked car. The parked car was pushed into the utility pole. No injuries were reported. 
 

Vehicles driven by Cristian J. Scott of Blue Mound and John M. Scott of Pana were traveling northbound in the 600 block of North Webster on February 10th. John Scott slowed to make a right hand turn and was struck in the rear end by Christian Scott. Christian Scott stated he slid on the pavement due to the weather and struck the back of John Scott. No injuries were reported by either party.
