The Bears introduced their new head coach today. Matt Nagy is taking over the Bears after being the Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator this year. Something that might have helped Nagy’s cause was his shared enthusiasm of the potential of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. But he says it wasn’t the only thing that went into him getting the job.
Nagy has his work cut out for him. The Bears have made the playoffs only once in the past 11 seasons.
The Bears have a new head coach. Acting quickly after the Kansas City Chiefs lost this weekend Chicago hired away KC’s offensive coordinator. Matt Nagy is going to be the Bears new head coach. He replaces John Fox who was fired after winning 14 games in three years. Nagy is just 39 and will be expected to turn QB Mitchell Trubisky into a top of the line starter in the NFL.

If you're a high school basketball fan in Illinois, when you talk about Lincoln Railers basketball the name Neil Alexander is likely not far behind.
The Hall of Fame basketball coach had the floor he's coached on for a couple of decades named in his honor this past Saturday night.
Lincoln superintendent Bob Bagby says Alexander is always willing to do what is best for his players but also the students of Lincoln High School. Alexander retired from teaching last year.
