While the current tornado threat remains low, meteorologists are continuing to monitor conditions across the area as we head into the evening hours. There is also a slight risk for a few, quick spin ups on Saturday.

The current tornado risk is sitting at a level three, shown in green, with a smaller level one risk in blue through midnight tonight. Officials say it is not considered a major threat at this time, but there is still some concern due to a significant amount of wind shear in the atmosphere, which can sometimes help storms become more organized.
