Students at Pana Elementary School will experience changes to curricula, especially with respect to literacy, as the school year gets underway.  Faculty and administrators hope to successfully implement activities they have previously trialed, as well as integrate other areas of education into students’ learning.  Assistant Principal Angela Matthews says one of these initiatives, called “Panther Pages,” will unify each grade level around projects related to reading. 

Teachers are even aiming to incorporate hands-on experiences related to the books their students read.
