The first school days this academic year at Pana Elementary School will see the local high school students become involved.  Band performances, mentorships, and more are meant to increase connections in multiple ways and improve the experience for the elementary school students.

Angela Matthews, the elementary school’s assistant principal, says the high school’s marching band visits to perform songs known to the Pana community and beyond. 

Students at the elementary school can also connect with high school students who volunteer to mentor.
