The Taylorville Police Department is preparing to begin enforcing the city’s recently passed kratom ban.  The ordinance, which passed a vote at last week’s city council meeting, will see both synthetic and natural forms of the substance banned.  Police Chief Dwayne Wheeler says he expects local stakeholders to cooperate on the matter.

The police chief also credits the Christian County Health Department for their role in raising the topic of kratom in the community.
