Pana Pride is seeking more volunteers to help with its planting work in gardens and pots across the city.  Volunteers and staff have been planting and watering throughout the summer and contending with heavy storms and hot stretches in the process.  The work is part of Pana Pride’s mission to beautify the city.  The organization’s president, Melissa Miller, says the pots and gardens are located in prominent spots in Pana. 

Miller says Pana Pride occasionally holds group events focused on plant maintenance to ensure they cover every such area.
