The beds will address a dire need, as Smith recounts her recent visit to a hospital in Uganda where children in the pediatric ward were recovering on the floor due to a lack of beds.

Ratish Kumar, a Biomedical Engineer with Mission Outreach, emphasizes the significance of this unprecedented situation, noting that they can now fulfill their recipients' needs for an entire year.
