The Taylorville Park District met on Monday evening to discuss old and new business. The Park District President Marlane Miller announced that Trustee Kay Champlee had resigned her position and Don Bragg would take over. Lisa Morillo swore Bragg in.

Bragg has sat on the board previously. Recreational Director Bailey Hancock gave an update on the pool. Hancock mentioned that in order to receive a grant analysis must be complete first.

The work will continue and a committee meeting is set up to determine which company will be used for the studies.

Hancock praised all the hard work that went into Christmas in the Park.

The next Park Board Meeting is set for February 22nd.
