A Taylorville teen is helping out those in need during this tough time. 12-year-old Gage Price is known in the Taylorville community as “The John Deere Boy” as he mows yards thru-out town.

His grandmother Brenda Barker reached out to Regional Radio about a good deed he did.

Price took his lawn mowing money and made life for the animals at the Christian County Animal Shelter a little better.

Price learned of the need the Animal Shelter had, and decided to do something about it.

Price spent over $120 on the dog and cat food and cat litter and encourages people to think of these furry friends.
