Shelbyville is getting into the swing of election season as residents will be hitting the polls hard before too much longer.

Mayor Jeff Johnson is up for re-election he has been the Mayor of Shelbyville for 6 years now.

Johnson says he is proud of what all Shelbyville has been able to accomplish in recent memory and is looking forward to continued growth for the city.

Johnson knows that all the grants have helped and he says he owes a big thank you to his team that helps get these grants for the city.
