It’s official, the 95th annual Christian County Fair has begun. The fair held its annual ribbon cutting ceremony to kick things off earlier this morning. During the ceremony, Kathy Drea and her son Nolan Drea where presented with a special plaque to honor Mike Drea, Kathy’s husband who passed away suddenly this past fall. Kathy and Mike Drea sold tickets for Grandstand Events for years at the fair, and the plaque will be placed in his honor inside the ticket booth.
That was Kathy Drea on how much she appreciates the fair board. Mike used to be a member of the board before he passed in the fall.
Now that things have finally kicked off, the Christian County Fair runs all week, with the last day being on Saturday.
