The Illinois State Police will be out in full force Wednesday for the fourth of July trying to protect and serve.
ISP Trooper Sean Ramsey says the officers know alcohol will be a part of the Fourth of July, the problem arises with residents do after drinking.
Ramsey says there are plenty of options for those who have had too much to drink, whether that is Uber or a taxi, do not get behind the wheel after drinking.
