4:25 UPDATE- The accident has been cleared and both lanes of traffic are moving uninterrupted.
4:15 UPDATE- One lane of traffic is moving on Route 29, but traffic is still backed up in both directions.
A crash has both lanes of Illinois Route 29 closed near the Casey's on the east side of Taylorville. Police and fire crews are on the scene of the crash.
