The jury trial date for Robert A. Stivers, a Pana man who is on trial for the death of his 4 month old child, has been moved to November. Christian County Public Defender Gregory Grigsby indicated to the court that the defense was still waiting on several documents pertinent to the case, and indicated that the defense would not be ready for trial on the previous September date. The defense requested a jury trial date in November to allow the defense enough time gather the required documents needed. With no objection to the date from the State’s Attorney, the court set a date for Jury Trial on November 7^th. There will be another pre-trial date to check the status of the case on September 8^th.
