U.S. Reps. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) and John Shimkus (R-Ill.) today toured Central Illinois Foodbank to highlight the work they do to help families in Central Illinois and discuss some of the challenges they face.
Among the issues discussed during the tour was H.R. 644, the Fighting Hunger Incentive Act, legislation recently passed by the House to encourage charitable donations by improving and making permanent a number of tax rules regarding charitable giving and charitable organizations.
