On Tuesday, at 10 a.m. there was a statewide tornado drill for Illinois. It was part of the National Severe Preparedness Week. Emergency Management Services Agency Director, and Taylorville Fire Chief, Mike Crews tells Regional Radio you should take shelter immediately during a storm.

The Taylorville City Hall is hosting the Severe Storm Preparedness Day on Thursday, March 19th at 9:30a.m. Presenters will be Crews and WAND Meteorologist JC Fultz.
