THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASHES:

On July 16 at 10:17am, a 15-year-old female juvenile from Morrisonville was stopped at the traffic light intersection of North Cherokee Street and East Park Street in Taylorville. The 15-year-old was on North Cherokee facing southbound. Alfred M. Fox, 32, of Taylorville was driving an emergency vehicle and was responding to a call. Fox was traveling eastbound on East Park Street and proceeded to turn left onto North Cherokee Street. Fox struck the front, driver's side bumper of the female's vehicle. Fox's vehicle did not receive any noticeable damage. The female's vehicle received minor front, driver's bumper damage. No injuries were reported.

ARRESTS:

Michael K. Bennett, 26, of 317 South Curtis Street, Edinburg, was arrested July 16 for aggravated battery/great bodily harm.
