A jury on Tuesday returned a verdict of guilty for a Taylorville man on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. 62-year-old Jerry H. Bunning of Taylorville was accused of sexually abusing a child. Following the trial, State made a motion that Bunning be held without bond which was approved. The Probation Department ordered to prepare a pre-sentencing investigation report and arrange for sex offender evaluation. Bunning’s sentencing hearing is set for July 31 at 1:15 p.m.
