The Shelbyville Rotary Club heard about the history of the American flag at their weekly meeting. The meeting's program Chairman was Phil Miller. Miller spoke about the history of the flag and also shared interesting facts and trivia. His talk began with the Marine Corps band's rendition of Stars & Stripes Forever, by John Phillips Sousa. It ended with a quiz in which there was a tie for the winners of the most questions right: Don Behl, Glenn Davis, and Ted Bogart were all winners


Also at the meeting, Josh Shallenberger volunteered to have a program next month to talk about what's going on with the Shelby Electric Association. Jim Yockey will be the program chairman for the next meeting.
