State Representative Wayne Rosenthal of Morrisonville says farmers in rural areas were having problems driving their equipment on roadways they normally use because some road commissioners were unexpectedly changing the weight limit on the roads. Rosenthal said that the farmers were then unable to take the routes necessary to haul their products and introduced legislation dealing with weight limits:

While the bill was approved in House committee on Tuesday, Rosenthal will continue to work with numerous groups on the bill before the legislation goes to the House floor.
