Ameren customers in Taylorville may have experienced a brief power outage on Sunday. Approximately 1200 customers were impacted by an outage Sunday that began around 8 am and affected the east side of Taylorville. Ameren Illinois crews were able to switch the load and restore power to all customers by 10:20 am. The outage was caused by a failed substation transformer.
