Area Arrests/Accidents/Incidents 10-04-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ACCIDENTS:

On October 3, Kelsey M. Fulcher, 20, of Kincaid was traveling north on Central Avenue. Jack L. Donahue, 77, of Pawnee was on the roadway in front of Just One More tavern. Donahue back out of his parking space and into the roadway making contact with Fulcher. Fulcher was in the left lane of a one way street. Both vehicles were damaged during the accident but no injuries were reported.

On October 3, Michael J. Moss, 27, of Taylorville was southbound on Shumway street in Taylorville. Moss crossed the railroad track, struck an unattended vehicle on the west side of the street, traveled 1/8 of a mile south, ran off the roadway to the left, and struck a tree causing major damage to the vehicle. Moss was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Christian County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported.

ARRESTS:

Richard S. Ginger, 31, of 204 Walnut Street, Dawson, was arrested on October 3 on a bond forfeiture for burglary.

Rhonda L. Duncan, 48, of 401 South Cherokee, Taylorville, was arrested on October 3 on a warrant for body attachment.

Kelly G. Duncan, 50, of 401 South Cherokee, Taylorville, was arrested on October 3 on a warrant for body attachment.

Michael J. Moss, 27, of 1200 East 1500 North, Taylorville, was arrested on October 3 for driving under the influence of alcohol.

 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ARRESTS:

On October 3, Taylorville Police Department officers made contact with Rhonda L. Duncan, 48, of Taylorville and Kelly G. Duncan, 50, of Taylorville that officers knew to have valid warrants out of Christian County. The officers ran their information through the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System and verified the warrants. Both were then placed under arrest and transported to Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.

On October 3 at 9:22am, a Taylorville Police Department officer observed Gerald Olive, 59, of Taylorville, driving a green Ford pickup at Main and Adams. The officer knew Olive to have a suspended driver's license and stopped the pickup. The officer ran Olive through the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System and he came back with a suspended driver's license. Olive was arrested, processed, and released on a notice to appear.


ACCIDENTS:

On September 30, Christopher W. Blood, 57, of Taylorville was traveling North on Main Street and stopped at the intersection of Main and Adams Streets. After stopping, Blood preceded into the intersection and was almost through when he was struck by Kathleen G. Heberling, 60, of Taylorville. Heberling was traveling west on Adams Street and failed to yield. Both vehicles were able to dive away from the scene. No injuries were reported.
