Area Arrests/Traffic Accidents 5-14-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORT THE FOLLOWING:

ARRESTS:

James E. Dixon, 39, of 200 Mason, Rosamond was arrested on May 10 on a bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear/answer.

Carrie M. Harrison, 27, of 534 N. Pawnee Street Taylorville, was arrested on May 10 on a bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear.

Jared L. Hohenstein, 34, of 316 N. Shumway Street Taylorville was arrested on May 10 on a bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear.

Susan R. Fisher, 34, of 1036 N. 14th Street Springfield was arrested on May 11 for aggravated battery.

Rodney T. Peck, 39, of 919 W. Prairie Street Taylorville was arrested on May 10 for domestic battery.

William W. Moore, 32, of 108 Summit Street Kincaid, was arrested on May 10 for operating an uninsured vehicle.

Jeremy P. Beer, 32, of 3177 Southern Hills Drive Decatur, was arrested on May 13 for failure to appear.

Faith N. Hoppes, 21, of 1505 N. 32nd Street Decatur was arrested on May 12 for failure to appear.

Sadie L. Stephens, 46, of 405 Richardson Ave Kincaid, was arrested on May 12 for possession control.

Cody L. Henson, 30, of Decatur was arrested on May 11 for failure to appear.

Jeremy R. Langley, 27, of 615 W. Prairie Street Decatur, was arrested on May 11 for methamphetamine precursor.

Brooke B. Killebrew, 32, of 906 S Main of Winchester was arrested on May 14 for possession control.

Stephanie E. Reber of 804 W Vandeveer St. of Taylorville was arrested on May 14 for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.

INCIDENT:

On May 11, 2013, Laurie E. Kirchhoff of Bulpitt, telephoned the ChristianCOunty Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) took the mail from her mailbox located at 101 Garrison Street and damaged it. The incident occurred sometime between May 10 and May 11, 2013.

TRAFFIC:

On May 14, Edward Ludwig of Mount Auburn was parked facing south at 305 South Elm, Stonington. Ludwig was backing across the roadway when Andrew Marucco of Stonington struck him in the driver's door. The drivers exchanged information. Ludwig later requested a crash report. No injuries were reported.

 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CALLS:

A Taylorville Police Officer made contact with a female subject at the Taylorville Police Department that was known to have a valid warrant. The female subject, Rian N. Nagle, 24, of Pana, was arrested and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.

A Taylorville Police Department officer wnt to the Cork & Keg and made contact with Kirk M. Johnson, 59, of Taylorville that was known to have a valid warrant out of Christian County. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.

Two Taylorville Police officers went to 901 E. Stevenson Street and made contact with Briar D. Samson, 18, of Taylorville that was known to have a valid warrant out of Christian Coiunty. Samson was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.

A Taylorville Police officer made contact with Christi J. Tedrow, 33, of Taylorviille at the Taylorville Police Department that was know to have a valid warrant out of Christian County. Tedrow was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.

On May 10, at 9:40 pm, Taylorville Police officer made contact with Jared L. Hohenstein, 34, 316 N. Shumway. Hohenstein was known to have a valid failure to appear warrant out of Christian County. Dispatch confirmed the warrant through the Law Enforcement Agency Data System. Hohenstein was placed under arrested and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.

A Taylorville Police officer was on patrol and observed Rodney T. Peck, 40, of Taylorville standing in front of a residence in the 900 block of Prairie Street. Peck was know to have a valid warrnt out Christain County. The offricer made contact with Peck, and ran his information through the Law Enforcement Agency Data Ssytem and verified the warrant. Peck was placed under arrest and transported him to the Christian County in lieu of bond.

Two Taylorville Police officers made contact with Carrie Michelle Harrison, 27, of Taylorville at her residence. Harrison was known to have a valid warrant out of Christian County. Harrison was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County in lieu of bond.

On May 10 at 7:13 pm Taylorville Police officer made contact with Alter. E. Ivy, 30, of Pana at the Christian County Correctional Center. Ivy was known to have a valid warrant out of Logan County. Christian County Dispatchers confirmed the warrant through Law Enforcement Agency Data System. Ivy ws served with a warrant and returned to his cell.

On May 12, at 6:37 pm, a Taylorville Police officer conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 48 near Houston for a Illinois Vehicle Code violation. Dispatch ran the registed owner as Faith N. Hoppes, 21, of Raymond through Law Enforcement Agency Data System and discovered she was wanted on a Montgomery County failure to appear warrant. Hoppes was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.

On May 12 at approximately 9:48 pm, a Taylorville Police officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle with its hazard lights on at Vine and Shawnee. It was determined that Susanna M. Durham, 30, of Taylorville was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Durham was issued a citation .
