Joseph Bertrand scored 14 points in the victory. The Fighting Illini take on Butler in the finals tonight that game will also be on Newstalk 97.3 WTIM.

(Houston, TX) -- The Bulls resume their five-game road trip tonight in Houston against the Rockets.
Chicago has lost its last two games after opening the trip with a win in
Phoenix. The Bulls are now 5-and-5 on the season. They will wrap up the trip
Saturday in Milwaukee.

(St. Louis, MO) -- Rams fullback Brit
Miller was released. St. Louis needed room on the 53-man roster for center
Scott Wells, who was made active. Miller was a special teams captain.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The St. Louis Cardinals added four pitchers from their Double-A team to the 40-man
roster. Michael Blazek, Keith Butler, Eric Fornataro and Kevin Siegrist will
not be available in the Rule Five draft. St. Louis still has one opening left
on the 40-man roster.

(New York, NY) -- The NHL and the Players' Association are set to meet
again this morning in an effort to work out a new collective bargaining
agreement. The two sides met Monday night, with the league asking the union for
a comprehensive proposal. The NHL lockout is entering its 67th day.
