Taylorville Accepted Into the Apollo Conference

Taylorville High School has learned that the Apollo Conference has approved the application for admittance that was sent by the Taylorville School Board. The application was sent by the school board on May 14, 2012 and the move will become effective for the 2014-15 school year.

Taylorville will join current members of the conference that include Charleston, Effingham, Mattoon, Mt. Zion, Paris, and Salem.

Superintendent Greg Fuersteneau says that transportation costs will be fairly close to the current Central State Eight costs.
