David Parnell was addicted to drugs for 23 years, and methamphetamine for seven years, but he has been sober for the past 9 years he has been sober after a harrowing experience with an attempted suicide.
Parnell speaks at 230 events every year in regards to drug addiction. Parnell says that meth addiction is so much worse because meth addicts will do anything for the high.
Parnell says he needed to quit all drugs to be sober.
Parnell says that if someone is addicted to drugs they need to get help.
Parnell is an author of the book Facing the Dragon: How a Desperate Act Pulled One Addict Out of Methamphetamine Hell.
