Officers were first sent to Walmart because of a complaint of a possible armed male subject threatening employees.

After an investigation, Lucas C. Wise 18, of Taylorville was arrested for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.

Then officers were sent to the Taylorville Walmart in reference to a male subject that was trespassing. After officers arrived spoke to M. Abbott who stated that Kyle Shoemaker, 20 of Taylorville was trespassing in the store and had left walking towards the Taylorville Crossing Shopping Center.

Officers found Shoemaker and placed him into custody. Shoemaker was transported to the Taylorville Police Department where he was processed and released on a notice to appear.
