Several Taylorville homes lost their power on Christmas Eve after an Ohlman man allegedly hit a utility pole. According to reports, police believe 50-year-old Darryl Morgason took a corner too fast and crashed into the pole at the intersection of Houston and W. England streets, knocking out electricity in several homes. Police say Morgason then left the scene, allegedly pulling into the driveway of a home at 607 Arlington. Several witnesses reportedly told police they had seen Morgason go into the home on Arlington. Police are still looking for Morgason.
