Police in Southern Illinois say it looks like a woman walking along the side of the road on Illinois 149 near Interstate 57 was hit by a car and killed. The Illinois State Police say it happened at about 3:30 Monday morning. Investigators have a description of a suspect's car, dark-colored 2000 to 2005 Cadillac Deville, but the ISP says no one has been arrested. The State Police have not identified the victim yet.
