Area Arrests And Accidents 1/5/24

Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

1-5-24 Adam Cherry, age 40, of Rosamond was arrested by CCSO for driving on a revoked license.

 

12-25-23 Lynn Dexheimeir was traveling east on 350 N. at approximately 2150 E. when his vehicle hydroplaned, and left the roadway. Dexheimeir was able to get the vehicle back on the roadway. There was minimal visible damage done to the vehicle, however the side curtain airbags did deploy. No tow. No injuries.

 

12-28-23 Brent Getz was traveling southbound on US Route 51, attempted to make left turn eastbound onto 400 N. Road. Getz took the turn too wide and the vehicle came to rest nose-down in the ditch at the southeast corner of this intersection. No injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was arrested for DUI.

 

12-31-23 Mathieu Kuhns was traveling east on 1800 North Road. Kuhns stated that there was an animal that came out of the tree line on the north side of the roadway. Kuhns attempted to avoid the animal in the roadway. Kuhns maneuvered left then over-corrected right and slid into the south side ditch hitting a utility pole and coming to a stop approximately 50-75 feet past the entry into the south side ditch. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries.
