The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

01-24-22 Austin Mayes 24 was arrested for domestic battery.

01-25-22 Lanita Newingham 55 was arrested for failure to pay as ordered by the court.

01-23-22 Bo Buschon was traveling eastbound on 1500 North Road in South Fork township when he struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries. No tow.

01-24-22 Jessie Schimel and Christopher Allen were involved in a traffic crash in Assumption township. Schimel was traveling westbound on 900 N Road when he ran past the stop sign and crashed into Allen. Both vehicles came to rest in a field in the northwest corner of the intersection.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

On 1/24/22 Amarion J. Ward age 19 of Springfield was arrested for a warrant

On 1/25/22 a 14 year old male juvenile was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting/Obstructing a police officer
