The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

09-16-21 Cody Long 35 was arrested by TPD for Disorderly Conduct

09-17-21 Constance Sherman 27 was arrested by CCSO for Possession of Methamphetamine

09-17-21 Devon Gatons VL was arrested by CCSO on an FTA warrant  for Forgery

09-19-21 Peyton Denton 22  was arrested by CCSO for DUI

09-19-21 Lester Ward was arrested by Pana Police on an FTA warrant for Possession of Meth

CRASHES

On 09-17-21 Meah Wagahoft  and Robert Harlow were involved in a traffic crash in May Township. Harlow was northbound on County Road 1800 East. Wagahoft was westbound on 1600 North road. After stopping at the stop sign Wagahoft entered the roadway turning left onto 1800 east road. Wagahoft failed to yield to Harlow. Harlow swerved to avoid Wagahoft. Wagahoft struck Harlow in the passenger-side. No report of injury.

On 09-18-21 Amanda Carnahan failed to negotiate the curve from county Rd 450 E onto 1900 N. The vehicle traveled into a ditch, tearing the front driver side wheel off.

On 09-19-21 Peyton Denton was traveling south on 2600 east in Prairieton Township south of 2100 north. Denton was unaware that the bridge crossing the creek at approximately 1960 north was closed. Denton avoided the bridge and turned his vehicle to the east leaving the roadway. Denton crossed a field ditch and entered the creek on the east side of the bridge. Denton came to rest with the vehicle in the water at the bottom of the creek. No injuries, no tow. 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

23 year old Shelby M. Hardin of Springfield was arrested on Sunday for possession of a controlled substance.
