The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

35 year old Sarah Marta of Edinburg was arrested on Friday on a FTA warrant for an expired drivers license.

28 year old Brooke King of Pana was arrested on Friday on an original warrant for violation of an order of protection.

33 year old Randy Sherman of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for aggravated fleeing and eluding.

28 year old Jenny Neville of Pana was arrested on Sunday on an FTA warrant for theft.

31 year old Zachary Lebon of Pana was arrested on Sunday for aggravated domestic battery. 

30 year old Rusty Rose of Pana was arrested on Sunday for domestic battery and interfering with a domestic violence report.

32 year old Brent Wells of Tower Hill was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant for driving on a suspended revoked drivers license and also a Shelby County Warrant.

42 year old Nikki Snow of Pana was arrested on Monday on an FTA warrant for theft.

46 year old Georgia Ward of Kincaid was arrested on Monday on an FTA warrant for aggravated assault.

29 year old Charles Warren of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on an FTA warrant for possession of meth.

38 year old Jacob Banning of Pana was arrested on Tuesday on an original warrant for domestic battery.

35 year old Benajamin Cummings of Pana was arrested on Tuesday on an FTA warrant for domestic battery.

48 year old George Bailey of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on an original warrant for possession of meth.

35 year old Allison Grothaus of Springfield was arrested on Tuesday on an FTA warrant for theft.

43 year old Steven Shull of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for domestic battery.

48 year old Andrew Heberling of Palmer was arrested on Tuesday for driving on a suspended revoked driver’s license. 

Vehicle Crashes: On September 3rd Madison Rickey of Assumption was northbound on County Highway 6 in Assumption Township.  Just north of 1300 North Road, Rickey lost control of her 2019 Dodge and went into the east ditch and overturned.  Rickey was transported to St. John’s Hospital.

On September 4th, Barry Jones of Morrisonville was eastbound on South Fork Township Road 1275 North when a deer ran into the road. Jones struck the deer causing damage. No injuries were reported.

On September 7th, Angela Perry was eastbound on DeWitt Street in Pana when she struck a mailbox causing damage to the vehicle and the mailbox. No injuries were reported.

Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

36 year old Ashley M. Layton of Pana was arrested on September 2nd for retail theft.

39 year old Amanda L. Buschon of Taylorville was arrested on September 2nd for a warrant

56 year old James M. Umberger was arrested on September 3rd for DUI

38 year old Vincent B. Page of Taylorville was arrested on September 4th for disorderly conduct.

48 year old George T. Bailey was arrested on Tuesday for a warrant.

43 year old Steven C. Shull of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for domestic battery.

17 year old juvenile female was arrested on Tuesday for domestic battery.
