Area Arrests And Accidents 12/19/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Monday afternoon. 36 year old Geoffrey J. Lee of Decatur was southbound on County Road 7 and lost control of the vehicle at 1800 E and 1800 N Road. The vehicle went off the roadway on the west side hitting the ditch and causing the vehicle to roll three times. No injuries were reported.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Wednesday morning. 18 year old Mason L. Mizeur of Pana was east on 250 N Road. Unit 1 was traveling to fast and lost control of the vehicle sliding into the south ditch crossing the ditch and striking a utility pole. The pole snapped off at brought down power lines. The vehicle was unable to be removed until Ameren secured the lines. Mizeur was uninjured.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Wednesday morning. 65 year old Earl W. Bolte of Nokomis was approached from the south on County Highway 1 near 025 North. 44 year old Richard S. Harris of Taylorville was in a towtruck for Neal Tire and preparing to tow an uninvolved vehicle out of the snow filled ditch. As Bolte approached from the south, he could not get stopped in time and slid into Harris’ vehicle.  No injuries were reported.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Wednesday evening. 77 year old Raymond C. Grandfield of Macon was traveling northbound on US Highway 51 ½ mile north of 400 North Road when he struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

 

26 year old Kasey B. Cantrell of Decatur was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2018 possession of methamphetamine charge. Bond was set at $10,000.

 

18 year old Trae A. Fisher of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on aggravated battery of a peace officer and armed violence. Fisher was arrested with a handgun in his possession. 

 

41 year old Christopher L. Lush of Edinburg was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a  2019 cruelty to animals charge. Bond was set at $5,000.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

18 year old Trae A. Fisher of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for aggravated battery to a police officer and armed violence.

 

41 year old Christopher L. Lush of Edinburg was arrested on Wednesday on a warrant.

 

35 year old Charlene M. Maxwell of Taylorville was arrested for retail theft.
