Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 8/1/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

34-year-old Megan M. Klespitz of Pana was arrested on Wednesday for a warrant stemming from a 2017 charge.  Bond was set at $5,000.

 

32-year-old Matthew T. Norris of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for a warrant stemming from a 2017 charge. Bond was set at $5,000.

 

24-year-old Brianna N. Caldwell of Morrisonville was arrested on Wednesday for theft. 

 

22-year-old Megan N. Middleton of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday for a warrant stemming from a 2019 charge.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Friday evening. 19-year-old Skylar L. Rider of Taylorville was involved in a crash at 1257 North 1025 East Road in Taylorville. Rider was traveling eastbound on 1250 North Road approaching a curve and failed to make the turn driving off the road into a ditch. The vehicle stopped in a bean field 50 yards east of 1025 East Road. The vehicle had the driver and two passengers. The back seat passenger was transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital with injuries.  The vehicle was towed.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a hit and run accident on Friday afternoon near 906 Springfield Road. 21-year-old Brittany A. Pinkerton of Pana was stopped in traffic when a vehicle rear-ended her. Pinkerton pulled into a parking lot to exchange information and the other vehicle sped off.  The Taylorville Police Department is investigating.

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There was 1 EMS calls between 9:00 Wednesday morning and 9:00 Thursday morning.
