On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

39-year-old Cleat A. Davis of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving on a Suspended / Revoked License.

24-year-old Lucas C. Wise of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for Disorderly Conduct.

On Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

62-year-old Jeffery A. LeFever of Edinburg was pulling out of a private drive on Springfield Rd. Thursday. A 16-year-old female was driving westbound on Springfield Rd. LeFever pulled out in front of the 16-year-old, causing the 16-year-old to brake hard and skid off the roadway. She struck a sign that was in the boulevard of the road. The vehicles did not strike each other and both were able to drive away from the scene.

18-year-old John T. Long of Taylorville was driving westbound on Lincoln Trail Tuesday, following behind 19-year-old Mary A. Bone of Assumption. Bone was beginning to turn right onto E. Park St. when Long failed to yield and rear-ended Bone. No one was hurt.
