On Friday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

A car was legally parked on the west side of Webster Street facing south on Wednesday. An unknown car was traveling north and struck the vehicle pushing the car back the length of the car into the driveway at 507 S. Webster Street. The unknown car drove away from the scene.

24-year-old Ciara C. Wagoner of Taylorville was driving eastbound on Route 29 Thursday afternoon and was approaching the intersection with Cheney Street. 19-year-old Tea R Landsverk was stopped at a red light at the intersection when Wagoner rear-ended her. All parties refused medical treatment on-scene. Wagoner was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

On Friday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

31-year-old Matthew J. Jones of Taylorville was arrested Thursday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.
