On Friday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
32 year old Christopher M. Coffman of Rantoul was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant for possession of cannabis. Bond was set at $5000.
On Friday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
39 year old Ronald E. Nigh of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for a valid Ohio Department of Corrections Warrant.
Accidents:
18 year old Dayton L. Durbin of Edinburgh was westbound on IL Route 104. 57 year old James T. Eiskant of Taylorville was eastbound on IL Route 104. Durbin stated that he fell asleep and crossed the center line striking Eiskant in the left front fender. Eiskant then skidded off the roadway and came to rest in the south ditch. Durbin then came to a stop in the center of the roadway facing west. Durbin was issued a citation for improper lane usage. Eiskant was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
30 year old Bonnie Hughes of Taylorville stated she was driving down Pawnee Street when she realized it was closed. Hughes said she pulled into the back parking lot of Taylorville Jr. High School. Hughes stated that she started to back up and did not see 20 year old Alexis P. Neisler in her vehicle behind her. Hughes struck Neisler, and Hughes’ vehicle recieved rear door damage. Neisler received front bumper damage. Hughes received a citation for improper backing.
