On Thursday the Christian County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
69 year old Gregory D. Hicks of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for issuance of warrant. Bond was set at $1500.
34 year old Robert D. Burke of Wood River was arrested on on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for issuance of warrant. Bond was set at $5000.
44 year old Jerry L. Burton of Langlyville was arrested on Wednesday for home invasion.
30 year old Cynthia R. Karrick of Bullpit was arrested on Wednesday for possession of methamphetamine as well as meth delivery.
On Thursday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
53 year old Steven D. Ackerman of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
ACCIDENTS:
On 5/31/16 at 10:23 PM, officers were dispatched to the intersection of N. Webster and Spresser St. 64 year old Ezequiel Camacho of Taylorville was traveling east on Spresser and turning north onto Webster in a 2014 Toyota Pickup. Camacho turned too sharp and entered the turning lane of 21 year old Cobi D. Niehat. Niehat was traveling south on Webster and in the left turn lane to turn east onto W. Park in a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. Camacho struck Niehat as Niehat was approaching the stoplight in the turn lane. Camacho's vehicle was able to be driven away from the accident. Niehat's veichle was towed by Morrells in Pana to Pana.
