Area Arrests/Accidents 4/26/2016

On Tuesday the Christian County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.


19 year old Mckenzie C. Coleman of Pana was arrested on  Monday for resisting and obstructing an officer.


33 year old Tawana R. Hall of Pana was arrested for aggravated fleeing.


19 year old Dylan R. Rentfro of Sigel, Illinois was arrested

for escaping and resisting a peace officer.  


On Tuesday the Christian County Sheriff’s Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News.


On April 23, 47 year old Gary R. Agney of Assumption was observed off the roadway in a creek. Danny Cameron contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report that Agney had driven thru his planted field.  When the officer arrived Agney had already been towed out of the creek.  Agney was issued a citation for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.


On April 26, 65 year old Vern A. Oller Jr. of Owaneco was northbound on on Highway Rt. 29 just south of 1000 Oller struck a deer in the roadway and received driver’s side damage.  No injuries were reported. 

 

On Tuesday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

On April 24, 47 year old Dwight Rozplochawski Jr. of Taylorville was arrested for a valid Champaign County warrant.

 

On April 24, 24 year old Meghan Rankin was arrested for driving while her driver’s license were suspended.

 

On April 24, 25 year old Joseph A. Leckur was arrested for failure to register as  violent sex offender.  Leckur was lodged at the Christian County Correctional Center.

 

On April 23, 46 year old Christina I. Wilson of Newton and 65 year old Patricia H. Horn of Taylorville were arrested for retail theft and released on a notice to appear.

 

On April 22, 26 year old Devon Newman of Owaneco was arrested for aggravated fleeing/attempting to elude, speeding 101 in a 45, manufacturing cannabis, and resisting and obstructing a peace officer.  

 

On April 23, 25 year old Joseph A. Leckur was arrested for a valid warrant out of Christian County without incident.  While on the stop, cannabis and paraphernalia were located next to the suspect/passenger.  23 year old Brady M. Knight of Taylorville. Knight was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

 

On April 25, 29 year of Jeremy R. Coy of Taylorville was arrested on a valid Pike County warrant and was transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
