The Greater Taylorville Chamber Of Commerce does what it can to help the businesses and its members. One of there big projects they are working on right now is Small Town Taylorville, which CEO Patty Hornbuckle explains is a group effort around the community.

The key to Small Town Taylorville is an interactive website, says Hornbuckle.

When someone goes to the Small Town Taylorville website, there will be videos from the businesses around Taylorville along with links to that specific businesses social media. The goal is to make it an online business hub for the city.

There will also be information for those looking to start a business. While the website is the heart of the project, Hornbuckle says it will be much more than that.

The website is SmallTownTaylorville.com. While it is up and running, it’s still in the early stages. You can go there to add yourself to an email list. Hornbuckle appeared as a guest on the NewsTalk WTIM Morning Show.
