A memo from the office of Mayor Bruce Barry announced that the opening of Lake Taylorville Campgrounds and Lake Lots will be postponed until May 1st. The due date of April 16th for leases and payments has not changed. This decision has been made in accordance with the statewide “Stay At Home” order that Governor JB Pritzker has put in place. Mayor Barry says that he understands the inconvenience but feels that with the current circumstances being the way that they are, it is for the safety and well-being of all residents and visitors. Continue to stay safe at home and practice social distancing.
